Frequently Asked Questions
You have options when it comes to printing. You can either print everything yourself, or take the files to a local printing shop (like Staples, or Office Depot, FedEx, etc.). I prefer printing everything myself because of the greater flexibility. But I know some people prefer using a printing service. It’s really up to you.
If you choose to use a printing shop, I recommend bringing the files into their shop on a flash drive rather than uploading to their site – this makes it easier to let them know exactly which files/pages you want printed. I also recommend doing a couple test prints first just to make sure they get the colors right and that everything looks the way you want it to before printing everything.
Whether you print them yourself or go through a printing service, I recommend printing everything on cardstock as it makes the color prints much brighter and last longer. And I’d recommend laminating anything in a high touch area, and/or anything that you plan to reuse for multiple years.

9 times out of 10 updating your Adobe Reader application to the latest version will fix any printing abnormalities. Here’s where you can download the latest version for free: http://www.adobe.com/products/reader.html
Always make sure you’re opening the PDF files within Adobe Reader (not another default application on your computer) prior to printing.
This is easy to do using Adobe Reader! Check out this blog post that explains all the steps for enlarging prints and shrinking items during printing.
I have tons of classroom decor editing tips in this blog post! The editable files are in PowerPoint format; you can use Keynote (on Mac computers) to edit these as well. Or upload the PowerPoint files to your Google Drive and edit them through Google Slides if preferred. But I recommend using PowerPoint.
Please keep in mind that the designs themselves (like colors and graphics) are NOT editable or changeable for copyright reasons. Items listed as “editable” are text editable only.
Additionally, if you want the text editable items to match the look of the original decor, you’ll need to purchase custom fonts from the original font creators. I include information on the custom fonts used within these downloads. However, you can always use any fonts you already have on your computer too!
I’m unable to fulfill custom requests at this time. And the colors are not changeable in these resources. However, there are some customizations you can make yourself! For example, you may be able to repurpose one of the text editable resources within a decor bundle for something else – the editable classroom posters are a great “blank slate” to work from.
