Modern Farmhouse Classroom Decor

The Modern Farmhouse Classroom Decor theme has been so popular for the last couple of years, and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon! From the shiplap, to the greenery and wood tones, I completely understand why!

When I put this theme together, I wanted to create something modern, calming, and easy to pair with other decor. And I think I pulled it off! I used black bulletin board paper for the background because it really makes everything else in this bundle pop. I think it could work well with a white shiplap background too, which I have yet to find. Why have the bulletin board paper companies not created a cute white shiplap yet? I’ve seen the white wood shiplap version, but I would love for an actual clean white one!

There are multiple binder covers and dividers included in the bundle for you to make the perfect farmhouse teacher binder! They are editable as well so you can make them say exactly what you’d like.

I’m often asked where I find my borders. I usually just browse all of the different teaching sites until I find something I like. In my experience of creating bulletin boards for the last 8 years, simple bulletin board borders are the best way to go. They are more versatile and can be left up all year long! Heaven knows putting those borders up is my least favorite part! 🙂

This black and white striped border came from Amazon. Shopping online is super convenient, but when I can, I LOVE visiting stores like Lakeshore Learning to get inspiration! Unfortunately I haven’t been there in months, but it will be so nice to go back to all the stores when this whole pandemic situation is over. Until then, I’m just glad we have online shopping as an option!
