Coastal Classroom Decor

Before I created this set, I got tons of requests for beach or coastal themed decor. As you might imagine, there’s a huge variety of ideas on what this theme could include! I wanted to design something with a calming and peaceful feel. The sense you get when you’re standing on a beach listening to the waves with that fresh, salty breeze brushing past. (Who wouldn’t want that refreshing, tranquil vibe in their classroom?!) With that in mind, here’s my take on Coastal Classroom Decor!

In this design, I used soft blue and brown hues to create the sense of being near the sea and sand. I added a pale pink accent to compliment the color palette, which ties the whole look together. This theme pairs especially well with any teal, green, light blue, gold, or pale pink accent pieces you have in your classroom!

For example, check out the light teal cube baskets pictured below that I got from Target. They’re super functional and pair perfectly with this Coastal classroom decor!

This paper is one of my absolute favorites because it lasts forever and goes with everything!

Next, I like to frame my boards with a simple but interesting border that compliments the decor without detracting from it. This simple black and white painted dots border (also from Amazon) pairs perfectly with this theme.
