Below I’ll share what you need to recreate this look in your classroom.
Putting together this rainbow classroom decor theme was so much fun! I absolutely fell in love with the color combinations and decided to add a touch of black and white throughout to calm it down just a bit.
To begin, gather the basics together like: bulletin board paper, borders, string to hang banners, clothes pins, etc.
I chose this Fadeless School Doodles bulletin board paper from Amazon because I love how it makes the colors in this theme POP! The doodles are so cute and it looks great even without layering anything on top of it too! (Which is helpful for those days, weeks, months your board goes untouched because you are so busy!)
I love getting borders from Creative Teaching Press, Lakeshore Learning, Teacher Created Resources, and Oriental Trading. With this theme, I chose a simple white scallop border to balance the busyness of the background and what I was going to layer on top.
Next, I ordered some black and white string from Amazon. I’ve been using the same spool of this string for an entire year and still haven’t run out! It’s the perfect weight for hanging banners.
If you want to create a teacher toolbox, like the one I have shown below, check out my blog post here which explains how to assemble one step-by-step!
