Can I just say, I love February classroom decorations! The color palette, the hearts, the positive vibes – everything comes together to create such an uplifting atmosphere. And the best V-day decor inspires students to treat others with kindness and love. Whether you’re looking for fresh inspiration for Valentine’s Day, Random Acts of Kindness Week, or the whole month of February, here are some on-trend Valentine’s Day classroom decor ideas you don’t want to miss!
Kindness Themed Valentine’s Day Classroom Decor Ideas
It makes sense that Valentine’s Day and Random Acts of Kindness Week are celebrated in the same month. That’s also good news when it comes to decorating your classroom, since you can optimize your space for both festivities at once! If you choose February decor that aims to spread love and kindness, you can’t go wrong!
I recommend choosing decor with simple, positive messaging. So it doesn’t need to be wordy. The most impactful quotes are typically those that are clear and concise. Here are some examples of my favorite February bulletin boards with a focus on kindness.
Quickly change from Valentine’s Day specific phrasing to Random Acts of Kindness Week in a flash! With the right design, you can simply swap out the sayings without changing your board decor. You’ll have a seemingly whole new bulletin board without the hassle of a complete overhaul!
You can grab both of these bulletin board kits in my TpT shop or my website store.
Obviously, hearts are practically synonymous with Valentine’s Day. But hearts don’t have to be the only decor imaging you use! If you choose another design element to compliment the traditional holiday decor, you can create a fresh design look! Here’s an idea that incorporates a classic red truck with the Valentine theme.

Valentine’s Day and Kindness Themed Classroom Posters
For a super easy decorating option, you might opt to make your bulletin board stunning with classroom posters! This is a favorite option for middle school and high school teachers especially, but works great for any grade level. You can make your own designs, or purchase ready-made options. To create a cohesive look, choose posters that share a common theme visually. And of course, stick to that positive messaging that inspires kindness! Here are some examples.

Retro Theme
Next, if you’re looking for a fun and funky, non-traditional vibe, consider going with a retro theme! This idea is perfect for any grade level and is sure to add a groovy feel to your classroom! This theme includes a bright color palette that mixes in oranges, yellows, and blues with the traditional pinks and purples of Valentine’s Day for a vibrant look. Also, the throwback images like smiley faces, roller skates, and cassettes create an uplifting feel.
Create matching decor elements throughout your space with bulletin boards, classroom posters, and even door decor in this same theme! I’ve created a bundle that includes all three resources available in my TpT shop and my website store. Or you can grab them separately.
