- I like to set up my chairs in rows and try to recreate the inside of an airplane. Then we “fly” to our destination and learn all about the country or continent we’re visiting! I even like to provide an “inflight” snack (like Sprite and pretzels)! You can use this these virtual field trips to incorporate social studies and cultural studies into your lesson plans, or use them as a tool to reward excellent class behavior! Each destination includes plane tickets to make the experience so much more fun for them! Hand each student a plane ticket the night before and they will be dying to come back to school the next day!
