One night I was lying in bed thinking of new decor themes… (That’s what I do for fun when I can’t sleep!) My mind wandered to one of my favorite places to vacation: St. George, UT. I realized a desert themed classroom could be so calming and inviting, and I had yet to see it done, which was even more exciting!

Keeping the tones calm but still playful was my goal. And I love how this Boho Desert Classroom Decor turned out so much. I create a lot of themes that are cute, but there are only a few that I would put in my own classroom. This is definitely one of them!
This decor bundle has everything you need to create a calm, inviting atmosphere in your classroom. To recreate this look in your classroom, make sure to use complimentary decor. Keep your bulletin board borders and background paper simple. Doing so ensures the busier items (like Classroom Posters) really stand out. For instance, in this display, I used this Loop-De-Loop border from Creative Teaching Press. It’s fun, but simple enough to highlight the pieces it surrounds. Similarly, this wooden plank background paper, from Amazon, is so versatile! You wouldn’t believe how many people ask where I got this paper from. Because both of these items are so neutral, you can use them over and over!
Let’s not forget about planning and organization. The variety of matching, practical resources, such as the Supply Labels and Group Signs, will help you stay organized and in style!
