This modern tropical classroom decor theme is one of my all-time favorites! It’s modern, fresh, subtle, and can transform your classroom into a classy, tropical oasis!
Until now, I could only picture a K-2 classroom pulling off a tropical theme. My goal when creating this modern tropical classroom decor set was to give teachers a more mature looking option, and I think it came together beautifully!
I used this black border from Amazon for a clean, bold way to frame the bulletin board. And the background paper is my favorite – fadeless weathered wood, also on Amazon. I love displaying the growth mindset posters, not only because they make your bulletin board look amazing in a matter of seconds, but they also serve as a great reminder to your students throughout the year to keep a positive mindset.
Here’s a closeup of some of the fun elements in this modern tropical classroom decor bundle. I love the combo of the greens, light blue, and pink, along with the black and white accents!
I got my teacher toolbox 4 years ago at Lowe’s and spray painted it with this fun matte blue color (it was a terrible navy blue before). Sadly, Lowe’s no longer sells them!
