Using this resource in your classroom:
I like to set up my chairs in rows and try to recreate the inside of an airplane. Then we “fly” to our destination and learn all about the country or continent we’re visiting! I even like to provide an “inflight” snack! You can use this virtual field trip to incorporate social studies into your lesson plan, or use it as a tool to reward excellent class behavior! Here’s a blog post I wrote with even more tips for using this resource in your classroom!
Included in this download:
- A 50+ slide PowerPoint with real photos that shows the 5 different regions of Africa, featuring local foods, animals, places to visit and more! (Both a PDF and a PowerPoint file are included of this slideshow.)
